Book Review ~ Joe (The Joe Knowe Series) by H.D. Gordon
I am not going to recap what this book is about, because quite frankly, the synopsis sums it up pretty good. With that being said.......
Joe is a must read! Full of mystery, suspense and thrills, I simply could not put it down. Although this story is told from the perspective of several different people, it flowed effortlessly. Not once was I confused on what the heck was going on. From the very beginning, I really felt for Joe and was cheering her on. She felt she was not a hero, but I disagree. She was more than a hero and if there was a real ‘Joe’, I would give her a great big hug.
Ms. Gordon definitely has written a top-notch novel that not only was flawlessly written but the character development was fantastic. The reader really starts to feel a connection to each character and can’t help but be drawn into their lives. Although this story wrapped up nicely, the ending does leave an opening for the second book in this series, Joe 2, White Sheets.
I highly recommend Joe if you love a good psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat with non-stop action and suspense.
